Listed below is a menu of available opportunities at our medical center.

Volunteer Van Drivers

Transport veterans from the community to their medical appointments at our center.  Prospective volunteers must have a current driver's license, registration, automobile insurance and participate in a physical exam.

 Ambassador (Customer Service)

Greeting veterans and visitors as well as provides directional and escort assistance at the medical center.

Clerical Assistance

Provides supplemental assistance in medical or administrative offices throughout the medical center. Duties include filing, answering phones, calling veterans to remind them of their appointments, greeting and directing patients.

Escort

Provides escort assistance for our veterans to their scheduled appointments and Chaplain Services within the medical center. Open hours.

Dine and Chat Program

Volunteers serve in a capacity as host/hostess and interact with the veterans during meal time.

Laughter Cart

Distribute videos and laughter materials to veterans.

Nursing Service

Volunteers provide socialization, as well as assistance at meal times.

Musical and Artistic Opportunities

Seeking volunteers to share their musical and artistic talents.

Baking Cookies

Volunteers are needed to bake cookies on the wards to create a homelike aroma.

Group Sponsorship

Invitations are extended to veteran service organizations, local schools, civic organizations, and corporations to coordinate and implement special programs throughout the year that will benefit our hospitalized veterans.

Currently, evening and weekend volunteer opportunities are limited.
