The VA New Jersey Health Care System has a large, well-funded research and development program including studies in —

The VA New Jersey Health Care System was the first VA research program to receive full accreditation status from the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP), and is among fewer than 20 research organizations in the nation to have its Human Research Program accredited.
